Hello,
When I boot my Tivo it locks up due to the file rc.sysinit not being executable. I was told to put the tivo drive in my PC and run MFS Tools and mount the drive and make the file executable. The Tivo Drive is on the Primary IDE slot as a Master and running the MFS Tools CD from the Slave on the Secondary IDE. How do I do this exactly. I have tried several times but I am not familiar with Linux and cannot get to the directory where the file is to perform the task. Could someone explain exactly what I need to type to mount the correct directory where the file is located and how to perform the make executable function?
thanks in advance
