Programing dtivo remote

I would like to program the TV Input button on my dtivo remote to act as the input switcher for my Denon receiver. Is this at all possible? Right now I have to grab my Denon remote just to switch the input source.

you don't say which remote you have, but if it is the peanut, I don't think it is possible... you CAN control the power and the volume, and I believe I had mine working so that it would turn on the TV and the receiver, but other than that the functions are pretty limited.

If you want a real universal remote, check out remotecentral.com for boards, bludo.com for a retail site... one for all makes some decent inexpensive ones, Home Theater Master makes a terrific one for about $100, and then you can really open up the wallet and get fancy from there.
