SAT-60 Powering up loop

Got the c update and tried to reinstall the cachecard drivers

Now I'm just going thru a reboot loop- never getting past Welcome......


I've tried to restore known good backups to both drives then just a single drive without success.

Any help is appreciated.

Have you tried doing anything with the parlex cable? My T60 started rebooting at totally random intervals, and would eventually get to the point of a rolling black screen. I thought the problem was heat related, so I ran without the cover. No difference. I tried cleaning the contacts on the parlex cable, though it also didn't seem to make a difference. I bought a new one from Weaknees and I stopped having random rebooting problems. It's at least something to try.

I've noticed the following:
There is hard drive access during the Welcome Powering up stage then the "incoming" light on the front panel flashes yellow and the tivo resets.

All cables, jumpers etc have been checked.

Wiggled the parlex cable and all is well-- To bad I already restored from my back up. Anyways, a good oppurtunity to clean things up.
