Point me in the right direction

[Overkill]

I have a Tivo T-60 I just moded with Intantcake,I have tivoweb installed and I am able to offload the files from my Tivo to my PC but I get errors when I try to extract it to .mpg or dvd. I do not need to save any recordings, I just want to be able to extract the video from the tivo and rip it to DVD or AVI.

I have been reading and reading and reading and still have not been able to tell what the correct, Or best way to do it is.

Can someone pont me in the right direction?
Possibly a step by step.
