Gotta call and order it. Can't be ordered through the web. They're all on backorder, but if you place the order before 8/5 you qualify.

That sucks. But it doesn't matter, I think I'll better get a SATA drive, I already have a 120 gb for my tivo. There are some 160 GB Samsung SATA drives for about 104 with shipping.

Well, the rebate form says it must be postmarked by 9/5, so if the order date is before 8/5 (and says so on the invoice) I think it would be ok if the ship date is 8/14.

I check outpost daily, so I ordered on 7/30 and I got a drive. The link started showing out of stock on 8/2 or 8/3, then they took it down. Perhaps they thought people would be upset with the ad showing a net price of $49.99, and some may not get the drive in time to get the rebate.

Yes, that appears to be true NOW. But the link WAS valid when I posted it, and I (and many others) ordered online, but for some reason they took the online ordering link down. The link to the rebate form may still be important, because when the online ordering link WAS up, it said that the rebate form would NOT be included with the shipment, and to be sure to print it out off the web.

Well, if you receive the drive after 9/5, it will be too late to mail in the rebate form, so in that case, you wouldn't qualify.
