I'm really in a bind at the moment with nowhere else to turn and I'm hoping someone in this forum is able to provide some sort of assistance. I know the majority of the house frowns upon images, but hear my story before you judge the post. Here's what happened this past weekend...in a nutshell:
purchased a 60GB Maxtor as a second drive, rather than entrusting myself to do the upgrade, I gave it to a friend (he's done several thus far successfully) and my Tivo worked without a hitch until 2 days ago. I came home after work to a frozen Tivo, rebooted and got a system error green screen, it suggested to leave the Tivo on for 3 hours for an attempt to fix the fatal error. It has been on for 2 days, and no luck. I've disconnected the second drive and still nothing. I was unaware of this forum and the tools until this unfortunate incident and since then I've learned that it's painless. I've contacted my friend and asked if he backed up my original image, he didn't. So, as you can see, I'm SOL. I'm at the brink of insanity at this point and have lost more than half of my hair in result of this, if someone can provide an image for a Philips HDR31204 (I was running version 2.0) it would be greatly appreciated.
