uninstall turbonet card

I have a hughes S1 directivo with turbonet working fine, but I want to take off the card to use it in other tivo unit. Would there be a problem? I get the guide through the sat, and the phone line is connected, but I'm afraid that the OS would be "unhappy" if it doesn't find the hardware...

It shouldn't be a problem just disconnecting and removing it. If you're really concerned then you should find out where the lines are posted that call the Turbonet drivers and comment them out.
