been running a hughes series one forever now since i joined this site

I was able to get my hands on a Sony sat t60 running software 3.10
I wanted to remove the HD and put a 120gb in and bash it etc..

so this is what i tried

mfstools , backup , then restore , then mfsadd HD expanded but I cannot bash!

then i tried using an old sony image i had lying around from the now dead tivostuff

sony image to HD (25xtreme) , then tried to upgrd252.sh , Failed!!! - Unsupported software version 2.0 .

what did I do wrong ?
how come i cannot upgrade from 25xtreme to upgrd252.sh after i imaged the drive.

I have been searching for a couple of hours and posting is my last resort

any ideas

thanks

i had the same issue with the version being updated. i bought a T60 from ebay and the version was old. the only way that i could work with the box was to reset the system a few times until the update tookhold. that may not be what you are looking for though.
