I jumped on the 200GB for my new Series 5. I must say, I'm very unhappy with the noise levels. Be very cautious of getting this drive... I now have to think of ways to silence the mofo.

This is lower than the db ratings for standard wd and maxtor disks. I have a seagate 160 in my living room htpc and it is quiter than my tivo.

The drive is very quiet here, the only noise I hear from the tivo comes from the fan.
