tivoapp patches for 5.2.1a-01-2-275

Many thanks to those blazing the trail. Learning would be difficult or not possible without a path to follow.

I have been searching but have so far been unable to find tivoapp patch locations for the Pioneer 810H after a couple of days of searching.

They are either 1) hard to find/non-existent 2) I need search lessons (doh!). Anyone care to point me in the right (general) direction?

I tried the disable encryption patch for 5.2 but it was a "no go" I have the 810H running a killhdinitrd'd 3.1.5 kernel and have network, telnet & ftp working but the next step is eluding me. I'm still trying to determine if the 5.2 release is completely different from 5.2.1a-01-2-275.

Any clues, hints or even full answers are most appreciated.

I have the 57H may I ask what methods you performed to get the ftp and telnet working on it?

You should work on your searching skills...A simple search for "5.2.1a patch" shows the thread you are looking for right away.

Thanks bud. I was just confused on what method he used to get the telnet and ftp working. I used the jenkins iso and got in fine but it erases the author file I create on one of the partitions. I can't remember if it's 4 or 7 but it erases one of them. So it never fires up tnlited for the telnet.
