For anyone looking for the following kernels i have made them available via ftp (the powers that be requested they not be posted on DDB). They are the stock tivo kernels (so hopefully tivo won't bother me as they are GPL).

Stock means orginal kernel from the tivo image (no killhdinitrd - you need to do that yourselves)

edit:
don't post kernels or links to kernels that include killhdinitrd, as the readme on that server claims they did

Your current options for getting a killhdinitrd kernel are as follows:

Download a kernel from this ftp site (or find a spare copy in your backups); run killhdinitrd (http://www.dealdatabase.com/forum/showthread.php?t=36692) on it
Purchase the Enhanced LBA48 CD from PTVupgrade for $5

The free PTVupgrade LBA48 CD v3.0 is no longer available. The free v4.0 LBA48 CD has mfstools 2.0, Jamie's 5.x capacity unlock tool, and Series1 (but not Series2) kernels.

For support questions specifically pertaining to the LBA48 CD: http://forum.ptvupgrade.com/
For support questions on killhdinitrd, uma6fix, mfstools, etc. stay right here at DDB.

I get login Incorrect. I am about ready to slice and dice my HR10-250 and need the Virgin 3.1.5, from what I have read. So is this site still available and I get login incorrect if its full (10)?

That site may be no longer available. Look at messages 590 - 595 (roughly) in the 'Backup Image Begging' sticky thread in the Newbie forum. Two sites are mentioned. Also, the PTVupgrade LBA-48 ver 4.01 cd has several kernels. The cd costs $5.00

This is my first post so forgive me if not in correct place. For anyone looking for older kernels ie. 3.1.1c, 4.0, 3.1.5. here is a site I just found. I have not tested them as of yet.

Tested. They're all virgin kernels.

Tested. They're all virgin kernels.

Thanks for your reply JT. I ran them through MD5 and the numbers came out as posted in killhdinitrd's readme.
