Hi all

I've been using Tytools to extract, cut and create dvd's and I’ve worked out how to use the background images and template files. However I’m trying to get a little more creative with the menu's.

What I’d like to do is create a menu with 2 pictures and no text so that you can click on either of the pictures and it will jump to the relevant program.

So my first question is, can this be done using the tools provided within Tytools?

I've been reading the threads about overlays, make.bat and customoverlay.bat and I think this may be the place to start, especially looking at FredThompson's TextCustomOverlay files.

The process I believe would be
Create the menu.bmp
Create the Overlay.bmp ( a black bmp with 2 white rectangles)
create a menu.m2v
run an edited make.bat
Then run an edited customoverlay.bat (dvdauthor .................................................. etc)

Well anyway this is what i'd like to try first (even if it's complete rubbish) but I’ve no idea how to create the menu.m2v file nor what it should contain.

So that’s my second question?

Ps
Thanks to all who have contributed specially Jdiner for the tytools package.
