We need a sticky to help me out here. Ok, if I go to 4.0.1b for example, what DISADVANTAGES do I receive by doing so?
1. I have read something about ratings being an issue, but set it to allow all. So I guess one disadvantage is the "V-Chip" isnt able to be used as it was version 3.x?

So my question is, If I upgrade to 4.0.1b and do all the hacks, can I still order PPV? Or will I be unable to call into DTV no more since I am running an "unsupported" version of tivo?
I cant find a thread listing disadvantages, help would be appreciated. Thanks! :D
