Please help a newbie

I am a veteran with HU programming.
I just go a new DirectTIVO /w virgin hu. I know what to do with
the hu, but not sure how to hack TIVO.
I want to be able to utilize the replay option and use all the options much as I can.
Is there a hack tivo for dummies FAQ ?
Where can I find the files I need ?
