Hey all. I just had upgraded my DirecTivo Hughes SD-DVD40 to version 4.0.1b, and everything works great except:

- The audio skips. I'm using optical output and told the Tivo to record and playback in Dolby Digital. About every 20-30 seconds the audio will "hiccup". What could be causing this?
- There are no channels below 100. My local channels are located before 100, but I can't seem to tune to anything below 100. Will this fix itself after more information is downloaded from the satelllite?

I only have a ftp and telnet server running on the Tivo. I used the superpatch to patch my tivoapp to use HMO, etc.

Any help on this would be great.

Thanks,
Andrew

Yes, locals are the last to be added, and takes about 2-6 hours to fill in
You can force the update by calling DirecTv, and asking them to update
(had to do this last week myself, when it was a few minutes before primetime, with all our shows starting)

Thanks for responding. Yeah I noticed the locals came in a few hours later. But the audio problem got worse, every few seconds the audio would cut off for about 2-3 seconds, made programs totally unwatchable.

I thought maybe I had done something wrong when upgrading, so I took the harddrive out again, restored the 4.0 image, and am doing everything over again. If this audio problem happens again and there is no solution for it I'll just restore my 3 image.

I've seen postes where people said they had upgraded their Hughes SD-DVR40 with success... did you guys ever expierence this problem?

Thanks,
Andrew
