Didn't log into my Tivo and now its gone.

I haven't logged into my Tivo in several years, and now I can't seem to get to it. I'm just wondering have they done an upgrade to the Standalone Tivo in the last few years that would cause this? Do I have to pull the drive out again to fix this, or is there another way?
