I'm a Linuxphobe, so please bear with me.
Is it possible to install xplusz from CD? My PC has no floppy drive so I can't copy the files to a floppy. I'm hoping it's possible to burn the files to a CD, do an installation of 2.5Xtreme on a fresh HD, then pop the Xtreme boot CD, insert the xplusz CD and type the commands to install xplusz. Or does the distro on the Xtreme CD require that it be in the CD drive at all times?
Would these then be the right commands to type in with the second CD in the drive?
mkdir /df
mount -t vfat /dev/cdrom /df
/df/setup
(Probably not the vfat, right?
After that, shut down and install the HD in my Series 1 DTivo and it's done?
