You dumped your original question but if anyone has an SA1/3.0, I believe it uses PreTivo mail messages. These can be deleted with Tivoweb. The equivalent to fixsub on it is the fixup3.0.tcl script. Even after running it, there are still pre-tivo mail nag messages created at least once a day.

I wrote a script called delmsg that deletes regular mail messages, given a part of the subject as an argument. I have been thinking of updating it to allow deletion of pre-tivo messages as well. It would eliminate some fo the nag screens seen on an SA1/3.0. I haven't had much incentive to do this because my second unit is now subbed (cheaper @6.95). I have a third unsubbed unit but it's used only for transferring records to/from my DVD recorder via analog wires (good enough for me but not some extraction purists :-) ) so the nags don't bother me much on that one.

Interestingly enough, the majority of my messages showed up as regular mail, not Pre-Tivo Centrail mail. Your script was unable to delete them.

I ended up taking a big swig o' beer, and attacked my remote control with a vengeance. :D
