One thing I've noticed is that CDE (4.0.1b) doesn't wipe out the connection method. If I'm set to connect via network, and do a CDE, when it's done, it wants me to set my area code, then goes out via network to grab the list of numbers. Then, when I set the number, it "tests" it out by going via tcp/ip again.
So, let's say I wanted it to use the modem, does anyone know where this info is stored, so I could telnet (or serial) in and change it over?
As an example, if I made an image for a friend across the country, when he restores it, if he doesn't have network (say he only wanted it for folders), he's screwed, and can't complete the guided setup, as the test calls will always fail.
Thanks,
Doc
