Wanted: SA Series 2

I'm looking for a cheap SA Series 2 (no nightlight!).

I'd like it primarily for development purposes (for cross platform testing with my DTivos). Also, to "capture" video from VHS tapes.

I've considered the refurbished models on Tivo.com, but they look like they're the nightlight models. I don't really want to hassle with prom socketing.

I've got an extra HDVR2 (DTivo) that I might be willing to work a "trade" with.

Edit: Got no responses. Looked on Ebay, and things are selling for rediculous prices (most over $100).

Searched the internet and found a few companies still trying to closeout the old models. Ordered a new one of those, and with rebate will end up paying $80.

I bought my TCD24004a for $179 from

Item arrived today in perfect new packaging. Manufacture date was Dec 2003.

I had no problems pre-qualifying for the $100 rebate on tivo's website.
