Reality Check - adding a second drive

I am going to visit my mom for Xmas, and she has a S2 DTV Tivo. I want to add a second drive to it (as a present). She does not have a desktop PC, only a laptop, so I want to so all the prep stuff from my place. I have the mounting bracket, the Y power cable, IDE cable and the extra drive. Sine I will not have acccess to her A drive my thought is that alll have to do is the "BlessTiVo /dev/hdX" to the new B drive and then stick it in and I am good to go. Am I missing anything?

I remember when that was the only way to upgrade a TiVo. Yes, it should work fine.
