Well after reading a lot of posts on this forum and others I figured I could do my upgraded myself using MFSTools. I bought a couple of 160GB QuickView drives and bracket kit from Zupgrades.
Now, after a successful upgrade to my Philips DSR704, I thought I'd like to hack this thing. So, in reading how to actually hack this thing I see killhdinitrd and sleeper mentioned over and over. So, here's my question: Why is everyone down on sleeper? It seems a lot of people use sleeper, but many people are really negative about it. These usally are the people that use killhdinitrd. So, why shouldn't I use sleeper? It seems like a much easier way to get this "newbie" hacked into his TiVo.
