I have linux fedora core 3 on my computer right now. Since the boot disks are linux based is their a way to setup tivo drives from in linux and not have to use a boot disk?

Are their any guides for setting up tivo drives from inside a linux install?

I just think it might be easier to do it from inside fedora than from a boot cd. Not that the boot cd method is hard, but since I have a linux distro installed I would like to try doing it from their.

I'm far from an expert at this, but AFIK, all you really have to do is add Apple (Mac?) file system support to your install and copy over any utilities you will need (bootpage, MFS Tools, pdisk?).

ADH's tivopart utility has a "revalidate" option that allows any recent linux distribution (linux kernel 2.4 or later) to access TiVo partition tables.

Far better than using an ISO, IMHO.
