My search for this topic in multiple forums came up empty, so my apologies if I missed it.
One of the more irritating shortcomings of the HD-TiVo is the lack of a "native resolution passthrough" mode. Those of us with external scalers or MPEG noise reduction units need to manually adjust the output resolution to track the known input resolution to maximize the benefit from our outboard processor units.
Would any of you kernel wizards out there be willing to look into what it would take to enable such a feature?
