Got Playstation 2 and 5 games for Trade for version 2 Tivo

Just found out my series 2.5 cannot be modified the way I want :(
I have a Version 5 Playstation 2 and 5 games avaliable for trade I am really looking to get a version 2 Tivo (TCD 240040 or earlier)

I also have 2 Xbox Matrix chips ;)

Well, looks like you can once you modify the PROM. Do some reading here or contact the guy on the thread I sent you to see if he can do it for you.

For the new 2.5 silver box units, you must modify the PROM to do any sort of hacking. (I offer such a service for $40 if you are interested; PM me for details)

Once you modify the PROM and replace the kernel (replacements can be found in the Series 2.5 development thread), hacking those units is virtually the same as hacking the black box TiVos; all information which can easily be found in the first few threads of the Series 2 and Extraction forums.
