R10 and no phone line problems.....

Looks like the R10 and sw 6.1 will not work w/o a phone line. The OP said his DTivo stopped working after 30 days of nag screens. I hope this is a fluke.....and not something that the 6.1 software will do to all DTivos.

Shouldn't be much of a problem at this site.

As far as I'm concerned, TiVo boxes are crippled (to the point of being useless) unless they are hackable. Part of that is the ability to turn off nag messages that get in our way.
