I bought a svr-2000 on ebay hacked with a 80GB hard drive instead of standard 30GB when I activated TiVo account I get as far as the second phone call and it always fails during the downloading part and says DOWNLOADING FAILED CALL INTERRUPTED .
the problem is that I am unable to make the second call in setup that
downloads the guide or for that matter the daily phone call it goes through
the dailing prosess but when it gets to downloading it stops after five to
ten minutes and says downloading failed call interrupted I have disconected
every other phone in the house and tried it still no good. I had a friend of mine that works at the phone company test my line and run a phone jack right under the unit still no good. I have called every number listed under local calls
is this a problem that could be caused by the upgrade? has anyone ever had this problem is there a solution
