MPEG2 created with mplex

Hi.

Basicley I'm just wondering why I can't jump the position of where I am playing when playing an .mpeg2 file from mplex

The procedure I use is,
I extracted the tystream from the tivo, then ran ConvertStream to make the .m2a and .m2v files

Then I ran mplex -f 2 -m 2 -o out.mpeg2 in.m2[av]

Then when I play the resulting I am unable to jump around in position. Any idea how to remedy this.
