really to get started

O.k just got a dsr704 and i am ready to get started. Quick question. My unit is currently running 3.1.1e do i want to backup this image and use this software or should i get a 4.01b image --seen a couple on emule?

I have a dsr704, and there is a guide availible on this site that helps you through a lot of what is required to put a 4.xx image on that machine.

To be safe, this is what I did

Bought:

1. 120GB HD fro BestBuy so I could UPGRADE capacity a keep my old drive as a backup.

2. A InstantCake CD for a Series 2 StandAlone to get a good image

3. The dsr704 InstantCake CD, in case I need to return to stock

4. The PTV enhanced boot CD.
