I just followed the RID 4.0.1 guide and upgraded my hughes SDVR40. It's working great, but the recording space is back down to just using the 40g drive and its not using my 160g that's in it.
I originally added my second drive months ago, and have had no problems. Is there anyway I can telnet into the tivo and just run the neccessary commands to tell it to use the 2nd drive (rather than disassembling the tivo and my computer again).
I have already telnetted in and tried running:
mfsadd -x /dev/hda /dev/hdb
This ran with no errors, but after a reboot, my capacity is stil ~31 hours.
Possible or should I get out the screwdrivers (again)?
