Finally got .ty extraction working on a DirecTiVo system and can successfully pull down files using tytools 9r18. The pulled down files play fine (pulled as mpegs) in WinDVD5 and NeroShowtime, but when trying to edit them using Studio 9, the audio jumps out of synch.
I've tried pulling as .ty files and remuxing, pulling as vsplit and working with those, but no luck. I also tried using GOPwhateveritis, and it just isnt the kind of software I like to use. Another thread suggested VideoReDo for editing and I've downloaded the trial version to give it a shot. So far, none of the editing software works as well (for me) as Studio 9. Anyone have a suggestion for how to eliminate the sync problem?
