With DirecTV moving to MPEG4 for HD channels by the END OF THIS SUMMER... is Tivo going to have a revised HR10-250 to support the 5-lnb dishes and MPEG4 channels? No point in pay $1000 for 6 months of use for the HR10-250. Or are we going to be stuck with some humax or NDS piece of crap DVR?
If not, say goodnight Tivo. They can't survive on stand-alone units alone. The DTV contract runs through the end of 2007 right? I can't imagine Tivo not milking that contract for all its worth. But then again... "moronic management" is Tivos trademark in addition to having a great DVR :).
