Just got my SA2..How do I know if it's a 2.5 series?

I just got my factory refurbed SA2 delivered to my house direct through Tivo. It's a 540040 model. I am already ready to upgrade the drive and know what to do there.

I haven't even plugged it in yet to see the software loaded on it but I know the Tivo Service Number and it starts with 540xxxxxxxxxxx. It's on the box and also the rear of the unit.

How do I know if this unit is is a first generation SA2 or a 2.5? Just want to know if I will be able to get the other hacks going on it.

Well, a smart person would have done a search here on the model number and found out that it is a 2.5. Are you up to a prom change?

I didn't ask for your criticism PlainBill but thanks for the answer. I see these types of remarks a lot on the DealDatabase boards which I don't know why peeps have to be that way here. It's been a while since I visited here. I posted in the Newbie forum if you didn't notice.

I have an Xtremed T-60 I did quite a few years ago and been away from this a little while. I also did do a search but didn't seem to find a direct answer. Just various other posts.
