Tivoweb Plus running on two series 1 dtivos and one series 2 dtivo.

Upon connecting to the main menu on the series 1's, I get the choices:

Main Menu, Logos, Logs, Mail, MFS, Phone, Resource Editor, Search, Theme, User Interface, Web Remote, What's On, Restart

On the series 2, "Phone" is missing.

Anyone have any idea why?

fyi, searching for "no phone menu" just brings up 5 million hits of the all too obvious issues around nophone, fakecall, etc. lol.

If you're running 4.x on your S2, try this thread. (http://www.dealdatabase.com/forum/showthread.php?t=41700)
I just discovered it today.
The phone module in the link works for reporting status, but that's all.
A little tweaking might make it behave like the S1 module.

Thanks, but I'm running 3.1.1e here. Perhaps the module does not work with that either. A little tweaking by me is more likely to make it behave like a boat anchor than my S1s. Was just a curiosity, though, lol.

Well, that is peculiar, but I'd feel pretty confident in not making an anchor messing with phone.itcl.
Worst that's gonna happen is it still won't work.

Did you try it? If I had to guess, I'd say it would work on 3.1.1e. I pretty much neutered the only stuff that could remotely cause a "problem" (event-related stuff) on a system it wasn't meant for. The rest of the changes were due to data being stored differently in MFS. The worst that could happen is it causes Tivoweb to throw an error. If that happens, just put back the original phone module & you'll be no worse off than you were before.

heh... I doubt it. :P
