I have the original Quantum Drive in my Sony SAT T60 (Series1) -- quite a while ago (several yrs) I added a B drive -- 120g
Now I want to install 1 200g drive replacing both drives. I plan to run copykern at the end --
I am booting up with PTVUpgrade LBA48 CD -- It recognizes correctly all the drives sizes including the new 200g -
Using the command line:
mfsbackup -Tao - /dev/hda /dev/hdb | mfsrestore -s 127 -xzpi - /dev/hdc
I get the error message -- Source is 37 hours
-UPgraded to 177
Uncompressed backup size = 152087 megabytes
Restore failed: Backup target is not large enough for entire backup by itself. I have been researching this -- Since I never touched the original drive and jsut added the second -- I would think I have enough partitions?
ideas?
