IT's about DVD copy protection schemes and there are a copple paragraphs on Tivo adding a macrovision filter to their boxes later this year.

TiVo 7.2 OS adds content protection, blocks transfers, and auto-deletes some shows:

Macrovision & auto-delete to be added too. Wonder if tytool will bypass this, as well as some kernel patch.
