Is there any way to speed up the transfer rate using wireless WUSB11 on Directivo with 4.0.1b greater than 475 K/Sec, or is that as fast as it gets?

Is there any way to speed up the transfer rate using wireless WUSB11 on Directivo with 4.0.1b greater than 475 K/Sec, or is that as fast as it gets?It's 802.11b and USB 1.1, so ~500K/sec sounds about par for the course. You might be able to squeeze out ~700K/sec with some work and with the planets aligned just right, but that's about the limit.

i have never been able to get more than .49/mbps when extracting programs from my tivo. Does anyone know what can be done to speed it up? I have tried two different usb to lan devices that were suggested on here, but none worked. I am currently using a Linksys usb100 for lan access.

I am having the hardest time getting my WUSB11 2.6 working with my modded DTIVO. I can get it to see the adapter and in peer to peer it setups a WLAN nicely but in closed network it shows no signal strength. If I unplug the adapter and put it on my PC it workls like a charm
