I have a dvr40 with the 4.x+RID installed according to the 4.x+RID guide posted here. This receiver is under my fathers account and I will be switching the receiver under my account. Directv is sending me a new access card.
Do I have to do anything to the receiver to update the new access card or I just do a normal access card update?
by the way for some reason in the Dtivo setup and information I cannot get the receivers serial and card number, would this matter?
