Any permanent fix for 31 day nag yet?

I've applied the DirecTivo fix to eliminate nag screens, however, as you all know, the nag screens return 31 days later.

Has a fix been posted that will overcome the nag permanently, rather than requiring a new fix every 30 days?

I've read through the archives and they don't allow me to search on the term "30" since it's less than three characters (therefore, I apologize if this has already been covered and I missed it).

i am pleased to see that you did attempt to search on the topic. the 30 day issue is fixed via putting the fixup script into a loop, or calling it when a dial out fails by editing the TClient-lib.itcl file.

Speaking on this topic: I noticed people are talking about hacking in 2.5. I will go out an do more reading, but the last browsing of the forum I had done, I though DirecTivo v2.5 couldn't get a bash prompt - or it would overwrite it if you did, or something to that effect? Has someone mastered this and put out any information on the topic?
