Sorry, if this info is elsewhere, for I have not been able to find it. I just wanted to make sure I was reading my software version correctly. My receiver says version 2.0-001-001.
Is this 2.0 or 2.0.1? Thanks!!

How do I upgrade to 2.01 without plugging in the phone and without applying a completely new image to my harddrive? Is there any easy way to do this? These menus and the guide are just so SLOW!!

I am with you brother! I have been looking for a copy of 2.0.1 for my DSR6000R for a while now. there was a copy out there, but it was bad, would not restore. If you find one, let me know and I will do the same for you. esfb8zs@hotmail.com

I put the Hughes GXCBOT image found at ftp://ftp.abs.net/tivo/ on my DSR6000R last nite, and am very pleased. The guide is much faster. The version is something like 2.0-002 (I am not in front of it right now), where my image was 2.0-001.

The only differences I can see in this image and the DSR6000 image is you don't get the philips logos, and in system info it says Hughes receiver. I suppose it would be a bad idea to hook it up to the phone line... :-)

I'd still love to have a 2.0.1 image, virgin or not, for the DSR6000 id anyone runs across one. There HAS to be someone running it. Even if it is in production, I can to a master reset after I restore it.

My thanks to kspades for the image, and Circuit City for the $99 directivo, I bought two :-)
