Locals

Anyone have any problems getting their locals going? I've got the local bit and zip porgrammed.. Anything special I need to do with the dtivo or will they just show up? :confused:

I had the same problem!!! Once it is programmed, you'll have to wait it out. For me, I had to wait almost 2 whole days for them to show up. Are you using and emu or a programmed card? If you're using an emu (sle 3.1), make sure to enter your locals code (in decimal, not hex) into your purchase limit.

Could someone please elaborate on what one needs to do to get locals going with an EMU. I set 8451 to my desired metro but still no locals. What's this about the purchase limit? Is that what I am missing?

Err I want to help but I did read this from the "Rules to keep in mind" thread by the moderator:

I have no problems with use guys talking about emulators and such, but please do not post details on how to set up an emulator, programing cards or anything related to DTV itself.
