I currently have:

Tivo 1: DSR704 (4.0b) -> WUSB11
Tivo 2: DSR2000 (4.0b) -> WUSB11

Office router - Linksys WRT54G -> Cable modem

This works fine but slow because of the usb 1.1 . Thought I would investigate an upgrade

I got a couple of cheap Belkin routers F5D7230 and USB200m adapters

Connected USB200m to tivo1 and connected to F5D7230. Loaded 2.0 drivers.

This is what happened... nothing

Tivo did not detect a network adapter. The Belkin router did not detect my network. My Linksys did not detect the Belkin.

I am pretty new to networking - anyone used this combination?

Apprieciate any help!

Thanks guys!

Jen

If you don't absolutely need the Linksys router/access point/whatever it is, take it out of the loop. I use a 7230-4 as my primary router (connected to the cable modem) and run a couple of wired computers off of a switch in another room, a DTiVo (DVR80) and a laptop wired to the router, a wireless laptop, and another 7230-4 as an AP wireless bridge hooked up to my SA TiVo w/TurboNet card. But I know that sometimes using routers as bridges won't work if they're not connecting to exact matched components (or at least from the same manufacturer). If it works without the WRT54G, you're all set. Or you can buy some new wireless usb adapters that support 802.11g/54g.
