dsr6000 any reason to upgrade from 2.5.2 to 3.1?

I've got a dsr6000 that I've had for several years and it's been on the shelf for the last year or so.
I'm brushing off the dust and about to get it subbed.
I don't get locals at all, so the whole triple LNB issue is moot to me.
Is there any reason I should upgrade the box to 3.1?
Will the P5 access card work ok?

Oh, this is a fully hacked unit at the moment, complete with ethernet.

If your happy with 2.5.2, and it works for you, you don't need to change.

3.1 will allow you to sort your programming, that's the major difference.

And yes, the P5 will work fine.
