Hello everyone....
First of all I would like to thanks all of the member in this forum for all the advice and input for other member in regard about TIVO and this hobby.
I spend 4hours and finally get the Tivo to work with fixup script. It's very confusing at first but now I got the hang of it. Now I wonder that can you even use the small 1/8" serial connector on the back of the unit to work with the PC........anyone have any input about the issue?
Thanks everyone.
:) :D :p

You can order it from tivo's store at tivo.com. It's only $5 I think.

Heh, I was looking around the house for various cables I had to make the damn serial cable when I noticed that the pronto cable I had already had the right connectors. I grabbed my multimeter and checked the pinout and it was a perfect match. I was mucho happy.

Yea, but home baked cable aint too bad to make, if yo've got the right parts, just snip the ends offa old headphones mini jack and follow the pinout.
