I sucessfully hacked 6.2, HMO, and TivoWebPlus onto my HDVR2. What else can I do? Is there something I can install that will let me stream the video to my computer? Anything else cool?

Thanks,

Dan

search these forums for Tyshow (stream to WMP) TyTool (extract from Tivo and Burn to DVD or VCD)
MFS_FTP, another extraction tool and elseed (Caller ID) that should keep ya busy for a while :D

What version of elseed are you using with 6.2? One version I tried garbled the screen, and one version almost works, but the text never clears.

Edit: Never mind, this version works just fine: http://www.dealdatabase.com/forum/showpost.php?p=180485&postcount=46

How did you fix it, not clearing from the screen, cuz I'm having that same problem.

Anybody tried Ncid?

Works well for me on a Series 2 Dtivo. It acts as a Caller ID server, displays on the TV, and will serve all your networked PCs too, with the associated client.

http://sourceforge.net/projects/ncid/ (http://)

Works perfectly with 6.2 but I do get this in the process list

6866 0 5208 S tivosh .//tivocid --no-gui --call-prog --program /var
6868 0 5208 S tivosh .//tivocid --no-gui --call-prog --program /var
6869 0 5208 S tivosh .//tivocid --no-gui --call-prog --program /var

Before with 3.15, I only had one line. Not sure what that means.

Nothing to worry about. You'll see this with ALL tivosh scripts (mfs_ftp, tivoweb, etc).
