My DirecTivo is a Phillips DSR7000.
I have an oval, 3 sat dish, with both Sat In 1 and Sat In 2 used.
I followed the upgrade procedure at Weethet Tivo 4.x (http://www.weethet.nl/english/tivo_dtv2_os4hackrid.php). The prodecure went fine; I followed all the instructions and got all the expected results for each step.
My newly modified tivo powers up and I can watch livetv and record. However, after I go to change my 'Channels You Receive' list, when I am done selecting channels and hit 'Select', my Tivo says 'Please Wait' and hangs there indefinitely. I waited at least 10 minutes with no change. I had to power cycle the tivo. This has happened 2 out of 2 times.
Note: at satellite setup, my Tivo complains because it can't see the B Satellite - perhaps my dish is pointed exactly right, but I don't care about B satellite channels at this time. (I get ~90% signal strength on A Satellite).
Any ideas as to this apparent hang?
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks.
