Long time lurker, first time poster.

First off, thank you to everyone (especially AW, ADH, MuscleNerd, NutKase, AhoyMatey, etc.) for all of the information in helping to hack my hdvr2 with 4.0.1b and then recently 6.2. After MUCH reading I have learned a great deal about linux and my tivo (note to those about to hack their tivo for the first time...read some more).

With 6.2, the images in resource/images was moved elsewhere breaking tivoweb somewhat. I was hoping that I could get a friendly member to either:

A. point me to where the images were moved to. I have searched through MFS and am still unable to find them.

Or...

B. extract these files from MFS on an older machine and possibly post/send them to me. I am going to place them in the tivoweb images directory as a temporary fix until someone far more knowledgable can rework Tivoweb for 6.2/7.1. As I understand it, tivoweb looks in it's own images directory first for these images and then looks in MFS second.

Please let me know if I am way off on this temp fix.

I noticed that too, yesterday. It took a while, but I found a copy of the images, with different names, in MFS. Your temp fix is the same as my temp fix, which works fine.

Thanks madlobster. Only have one tivo here. I did not want to revert to 4.x just to get the images so that tivoweb looked "OK." I had suspicions that they had changed the file names. :)

What's really strange is that this works on 2 of my hacked 6.2 Tivo's. The only thing I did differently was to put a clean 6.2 back in the Tivo, and call Tivo a few times until the Downloading stopped (this also got me channel logos).

In the one without the TivoWeb pictures, I only made 2 calls to Tivo, and I did them after I already hacked it (kernel in 3 and 6, network, etc.).

In any case, putting these in the images directory fixes it for now.

Very odd...

You'll find them buried in /mfs/TuikRes. I'm still trying to understand the mfs layout because they seem be have different paths to them and they almost appear to be differentiated by machine type (part of their buried path ends in things like 151, 101, 102, 301, etc.) In my case, I can find them (but with slightly different names) on my HDVR2 (software ending in 151) in:

/mfs/TuikRes/Group/uilib~20050215170308-151/010404:010101/

I'm really not too sure how to pull them out of there though. I've been looking through TWP to see how it does it but I'm really not too skilled at tcl.

Looking a bit closer they are there for all 6.2 machine types but are divided a in to different directories (but they may eventually point to the same place?), many of which are shared. They are found in /mfs/TuikRes/Holder/ then one of the following:

010104
010404
010504
010804

Hmmm....
