Please Help Me!!!

I am so confushed..all I want to do is take the files that I downloan with Tivo desktop and burn them to a cd or dvd. I have gotten so much information on this , but nothing works. I've tried nero, Dr Divx, and I still can't do it. With Dr Divx the audio and video are out of sinc.. with nero, the in demand is scrambled...so....please help if you can..thanks

I tried to follow the link that you posted...guess I'm not educated enough in programing to follow it? Thanks you and sorry that I posted in the wrong area...thought there was an easy answer to my question
