My question involves the copykern command I used at the end of my restore process. I did this for LBA-48 support. My SAT-T60 is running version 2.5.2 but the copykern command gives me 3 options for which kernel to install
2.5.2
3.0 or
3.1
Naturally because of my lack of knowledge I went ahead and installed 2.5.2
So if I have 2.5.2 do I have to use the 2.5.2 kernel or can I use the 3.0 or 3.1 kernel? These sound like upgrades to me. Are they? And are there upgrades out there that I can get a kernel for like 6.2? Also what are the advantages of going from say 2.5.2 up to 3.1 (if possible)? Is it worth my time or should I just leave well enough alone with 2.5.2? If any of these upgrades are possible how high can I go with a SAT-T60? Are there any negatives with these upgrades?
Thanks
