My HDVR2 is running 4.x with killhdinitrd already, just wondering the easiest way to go about upgrading to 6.2 without pulling the drive and without losing my telnet/ftp access. I'm sure there is a thread about this already, but the only one I found with a search talked about upgrading a box with tivoscripts and monte.
If the 6.2 slice was already downloadaed, should it be in /var/packages? The directory is empty so I may have to grab it elsewhere. Thanks for a pointer.
